Bus is liaison point between the tool on a computer that is used as a medium in the process of spending data in process.This bus ca be considered as a pipe,where the pipe or channel used to transmit and receive information between device connected.in a computer system,this bus

including internal divices, the speed of transmission of of information via the bus is done at high speed.
Tool data transformation from one terminal to another terminal in the CPU. The main point of data flow between the processor to other components { such as sound cards,video cards, memory}on the mainboard.

Characteristics of the bus are :

1. the number of interruptions determines many indenpendent device that ferform I/O
2. external data bus size resulting in operational speed I/O
3. the size of the address bus determines much memory expansion board is appointed
4. the mazimum clock speed that can accomodate buses result in performance
